PMS Relief
A Natural Approach
Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) affects a large number of women and can bring both physical and emotional symptoms that impact daily life.
Common symptoms may include bloating, fatigue, mood changes, headaches, and difficulty concentrating. For some women, symptoms can be more severe and affect overall wellbeing. While conventional treatments are available, many people look for gentler, more natural ways to support comfort during this time.
A recent double-blind clinical study explored the effects of a natural combination of herbs, nutrients, and plant extracts designed to support PMS symptoms. The study included 218 women who were given either a placebo or a supplement containing ingredients such as lavender, saffron, valerian, chamomile, curcumin, spirulina, vitamin B1, and calcium.
Participants took the supplement twice daily, beginning seven days before menstruation and continuing for three days after onset, over two cycles. Researchers measured symptom changes using the DRSP scale, a tool used to evaluate the severity of PMS symptoms.
The results showed significant improvements in the supplement group. Participants experienced greater reductions in both physical and emotional symptoms, with even stronger results observed during the second month.
Women with more severe PMS symptoms also showed meaningful improvements compared to the placebo group. These findings suggest that combining multiple natural ingredients may offer a supportive approach to managing PMS symptoms.
