Grocery Associate (Full-Time)

Shuswap Health Foods is looking for a full-time Grocery Associate to join our team!

About the Role

The Grocery Associate works closely with the owners and team members to maintain inventory, support customers, and ensure a clean, organized store.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, knowledgeable customer service
  (Supplement and ingredient knowledge is an asset, but not required—we’ll train you!)

• Stock shelves and maintain clean, organized aisles

• Rotate inventory and monitor product freshness

• Place orders and communicate with wholesalers

• Receive deliveries and organize backroom inventory

• Help customers find products and make informed choices

• Uphold store standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation

Who You Are

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused

• A strong team player who takes initiative

• Organized with great attention to detail

• Excellent communication and time-management skills

• Passionate about healthy living, natural products, and wellness

• Comfortable lifting boxes up to 30 lbs and being on your feet throughout the day

• Retail or grocery experience is an asset—but not required

Job Overview

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm
  (30-minute lunch break)

• Weekends off

• Hourly wage: $20–$25 CAD

• Store discount on food and supplements

• After 1 year: $500 annual health benefit (chiropractor, eyeglasses, prescriptions, etc., with receipt)
