A recent study published in Nature Aging followed 777 participants and explored how nutrition and lifestyle may influence the aging process.

Researchers found that taking 1 gram of omega-3 essential fatty acids daily slowed biological aging. The effect became even stronger when participants combined omega-3 supplementation with 2,000 IU of vitamin D per day and a simple home exercise routine.

Over the course of three years, the group following this routine slowed biological aging by 2.9–3.8 months compared to those who did not.

While no single supplement can stop aging, research continues to show that consistent healthy habits — including proper nutrition and regular movement — can support long-term wellness.
